Shirley Social Club strive in the Snooker League

The club has six full size snooker tables which are maintained in good condition and are available for use during opening hours.Tuition is available from a professional coach by arrangement.The club have three teams in the Birmingham efficiency league and two teams in the summer league.

The dress code for the snooker room requires all players including guests and visiting teams to wear a shirt with a collar after 8 pm every night. Polo shirts with collars are ok. as are smart jeans and trainers. In addition no jeans or trainers are allowed after 8 pm on Sunday.

A little bit about us

The club was founded as the Shirley Ratepayers Association on 26 September 1933. Twelve months later it became Shirley Social Club Limited. The Club is owned by it's 350+ Members each having 1 share in The Club. It is run by a Committee and Registered under the Industrial and Provident Act. We are non political and not affiliated to any other similar Clubs.
